Painted laminate
Several of the fixer-uppers I have been researching lately have a few rooms with laminate floors. Lots of people look at those and immediately think of the expense of tearing them out and putting in hardwood or tile. But with a little sanding, you can paint laminate and have something amazing! Here are some of my favorite painted floors....would you have one in your house?

Oooh that kitchen floor is FAB! I actually have painted floors in my living room and guest bedroom - our budget ran out so we just painted the subfloors! I like the idea that I can just repaint them whenever I want - cause I'm psycho like that ;) You're making me want to paint something wild on there now! -BOO

Gorgeous! I love the chevron floor. And the teal. Oh heck, they are all amazing. Any ideas on how to paint laminate? Just clean, sand, paint and finish? I would love to do this.
