tabletop sans table

The amazing Anna Spiro over at Absolutely Beautiful Things posted this quote a few days ago and I thought it fit the theme of the week perfectly. I always find something that I want but don't need on Ebay or elsewhere and have no place for it but buy it out of love. Which is why I have several boxes of crap in a friend's garage. One thing I am always drawn to is tabletop items. Even though I don't cook in my apartment, or have people over, or have a dining table.
Love these....

You are my style twin, for sure! Love these all! I did get some gold flatware recently in a OKL sale to go with my grandmother's gold rimmed china. Of course we have yet to use it.

I'm going goo goo ga ga over the plates and of course DVF's geometric bowl is really of-the-moment, isn't it? I've actually been working on a post of "new geometrics" -- I may need to add this!

I love that you can add in her expensive geometric bowls or plates over solid white or your regular plates and it looks so designer-y!

I want to switch all my flatware to the gold variety, but then I would have to renovate my entire kitchen to match the gold flatware ;)

Sabs - I love mixed metals. I think all white dishes, clear glasses, and a mix of totally different flatware would be super cool! You HAVE to do it!
