goodbye beach bedroom

Just thought I would post one last pic of this bedroom done in the "boho beachy" look. It is just too casual and beachy for me and not my style at all, even though I love each individual element on it's own. The beach photo, lamps, pillow and throw are all going away. The moroccan rug is going back to the living room. Time for a fresh start!
Have an awesome weekend!

Where did you find your rug in that room and what size is it? I would love one in my master bed room but they are soooo pricey!

Hey girl - they are so expensive it is ridiculous! I wrote Maryam (Moroccan Maryam is her blog) and told her my price limit - $2000 and asked which of her rugs (they are all pictured on her blog) I could afford. She had mine on special - it is a 6 x 12, which is sort of long and awkward for some people. But I love the size and I love the pattern! I had it professionally washed by a rug company when it came and I recommend that. Tell her Elizabeth sent you!

Hi there! I am looking for that exact lamp but am having trouble finding it. Found similar ones but was delighted when I saw this post. Where did you find it? Thanks!

Hi anonymous - that plaster lamp is made exclusively for my store - so that is the only place to buy them! Interior Designs, Inc., New Orleans...504-895-5110
