Artist I Love: Kaki Foley

Artist Kaki Foley is a New Orleans resident, and is starting to receive national acclaim for her tattered, "destroyed opulence" artwork. She is also one of the sweetest people I have ever met! She was featured by Anthropologie in their New York gallery show honoring New Orleans artists, and check out the stunning collaboration she did in Los Angeles with The Melrose Project! She has tons of installations here in NOLA at boutiques, and she has done custom paint finishes and art projects in people's homes. She is so crazy talented and humble -  If you live in the area and would like to commission Kaki, you can reach her at 504-210-7166. Or check out her website at www.tattereddesign.com.

You guys - her stuff is not that expensive - and she has done little paper trinkets and hanging doodads for people that are so delicate and pretty and are super inexpensive!
