Is it just me?

This photo of a nursery was blogged the world over when Elizabeth Taylor passed a while back. It is a stunning photo of her, a gorgeous pink hue, and I think it makes great art. But not in a nursery. Am I alone in thinking that a woman in lingerie (portraying a prostitute in the movie Butterfield 8) is not the best art for a nursery? I think it would be amazeballs in a bachelorette or bachelor pad, bedroom or dressing room. Maybe I am just crazy...what do you think - inappropriate or pretty?

Yeah that's just not fitting!! It's so prettty and all but not for a nursery. Clearly, Mom is one big diva LOL.

Haha, most definitely not just you. I'm due in one week and 4 days with a baby girl, and my hubs is convinced that she's not dating until she's 25. Elizabeth Taylor...no go for a nursery for sure!

Of course it's appropriate to hang a picture of a cigarette smoking, cocktail drinking hooker in a nursery. Don't be so conservative Liz ;)

Well. . . when you put it that way!!! It makes me think twice! Gorgeous piece of art but maybe not appropriate for a nursery. Thanks for the good laugh.

THANK YOU. I thought the same, because I've wanted to hang vintage fashion pics and just thought maybe not until she's at least pre-teen! But hookin and smokin and drinkin-- I'll keep those in my office. ;o)
