Agate this

I have been in love with agate stone probably since Kelly Wearstler covered her entire bedroom wall in it...

R & Y Augousti of Paris, my fave furniture line, has been doing quartz and agate slice tables for a while - and I will eventually take this one from my store I think...

But who knew you could get them in slabs? Jen at Made By Girl showed this fireplace a while back - what a stunner!

And the Concetto line of products from Caesarstone allows you to do this in lots of colors for countertops, etc..

If you can't afford the stone and are tired of the accessories that are so trendy, how about this felt rug from Anthropologie? I love it!

So what do you think? Could you have something so bold in your home? What do you think of that rug? It is actually calling to me...

Don't hate my but I dislike it. I think an agate earring is cool, but when it's that large, it does something negative to my brain. I will support all your choices though!

I LOVE that table at your store... it might be my fav piece in there! However, I'm not too crazy about the counters in agate. looks too busy for me! -Boo

I love the way it's used in that first image. It looks so smooth. The other versions are kinda tripping me out. It might be too much movement for me.

I am a huge huge R&Y Augousti fan--I have a few frames and boxes. But, I agree that seeing pieces this big makes it appear too loud and busy. Maybe using agate somehow in the bathroom?

I really love the gorgeous rich colors. I think you would have to have just the right kind of space to pull it off. I am a huge Kelly W. fan, she can do anything wild and it looks cool.

Completely in love with the agate wall. I know you've seen that one dining room right? It's gorgeous. Can't remember the designer at the mo.
