Can't pass up a deal?

I think a lot of women have a problem with sales. If we see a sale or a good deal on something, many times we will buy it, even if we do not need it in that moment. I am definitely that way with design stuff. I already owned a small peacock mirror a couple of years ago, inspired by these pics:

As happens many times in my life, I did not even photograph it or use it in my space for long before I sold it. I do this constantly. Then I saw a HUGE peacock mirror yesterday for a price that I just couldn't pass up. Even if it doesn't fit in with what I am doing right now, sometimes a deal like that makes you a little crazy. I called and texted a client to tell her it was perfect for her and have thought endlessly about how I can make it work for myself... I am so nutty. Do you ever see a deal that you just can't pass up?

good deals

Well, yesterday's discussion was very interesting - thank you to the people who commented; I love a good debate/talk! :)
I am (contrary to popular belief) an insanely frugal bargain hunter. I have champagne taste and a decidedly beer budget, my friends. Of course everyone and their mother is at Highpoint Market this week except me - as I have to be here to man the store. But I am in phone and email contact with my vendors and since today is the last day of market, I have scored a bargain for myself!
This amazeballs parchment and cerused oak chest by Julian Chichester has always been a love of mine. The handles are this bronzey brass that is so cool, and the parchment fronts have a delicate fish scale pattern on them. It is super heavy and well made and sells retail for around $6k! I scored the floor sample from market for a cool grand and it is on its way to me now... Can't wait to dress it up!
Have you scored anything great lately?
