Almost Perfect

I never say that a picture of a space is perfect for me, and this one is not quite, but it is the closest I have seen. I could very well live happily here. Put a bed in the top loft and change the extremely baroque gilded mirror for modern art or a simpler mirror, and I would stay happy for a long time...Love!

Almost Perfect

Very rarely do I see a home that is completely perfect for me. There is always a few things that I would change. Some of Ryan Korban's rooms are almost there for me, Laura Day's living and dining area are 99% perfectly my dream space, and Delphine Krakoff's homes are high-art versions of rooms I would love to live in. This townhouse belonging to Gilles Mendel is now entering the mix. Sure, there are some things about it that I do not care for (namely the red bedroom) but mostly I love it. Love it, love it, love it. Good thing it is on sale. Bad thing is I don't have a bazillion dollars. If someone would like to buy me a dress or fur from his fashion house J Mendel to make me feel better I will love you forever...
