Brass sconces

Hey gang - hope you are all getting back into the swing of fall schedules. Summer is over and everyone is busy, busy. I am working day and night trying to figure out my next path here in San Diego. I do think that I need to get my teacher's certificate since I have several degrees in Spanish and it has been such a big part of my life. I am taking the CSET (skills test) for Spanish this Saturday, so I don't have a lot of time to think about design, but when I do, I think about my cottage bedroom.

I set it up just to get it furnished when I moved in, but it is really boring me. The only great piece is the fishscale chest with the brass mirror over it. Other than that I just put a basic bed in, white sconces, white blackout drapes, and a white paper lantern. One day I will do a custom upholstered bed and change the chandelier. I will add a trim to the drapes or change them to colored panels. But the first and easiest change I hope to get done by Christmas. I love brass sconces for over the bed. But I don't want them to be too traditional or to take too much away from the chandelier or bed since it is such a tiny room. Which of these do you prefer? They are both around $170 and have metal stems so they can plug in behind the bed.

This one with shade:

or this one that is all brass and a little more slick:

Or, super simple directly above the headboard:

This one is small and unobtrusive, and only $100 bucks each! What do you think?
